Shipping and Exchange Terms

Shipping

Shipping on all products is normally free within Australia, some remote areas may require a small charge. candle gifts reserves the right to amend or change shipping terms at any time. Free shipping includes processing, packing and delivery to the address given upon purchase with processing normally complete within 2 working days and delivery 7-14 days depending upon your address and region.

All shipping takes place via Australia Standard Post, with candle gifts reserving the right to use other shipping means at any time.

If you are outside of Australia we shall contact you to advise you of any additional shipping costs and your required method of shipping.

Special shipping requirements may be agreed to if you contact us direct.

Delivery Conditions

All orders are tracked and may require a signature on arrival. Parcels will not, under any circumstances, be left unattended at a residence. If the recipient is not at the delivery location, a note will be left to arrange alternate delivery.

Candle Gifts will not be held responsible for delivery failure as a result of non-attendance.

Unclaimed articles - is when an article is addressed for delivery at an office; or to an addressee at a hotel; or other accommodation establishment, other than the proprietor, an employee, or a member of the family of the proprietor or an employee of that establishment, and has not been claimed by the addressee within 30 days after the date on which the article is delivered to that office or establishment, the article shall be treated as an article unclaimed by its addressee.

The above shipping times are guidelines only and based on reasonable expectations and experience. Candle Gifts does not take any responsibility if the above delivery times are not met. We will, however, take every action to ensure a timely delivery.

Website purchase may take up to 5 working days to process, but are normally processed as quickly as possible, if you require more urgent delivery, please contact us via Phone. Phone orders generally ship the same day.

Candle Gifts – takes no responsibility for items damaged or lost during delivery – if you require insurance please contact us via phone for a quote.

If you supply incorrect information and Australia Post cannot deliver your parcel, or you do not collect your parcel from the Post Office, you may be asked to cover freight costs for the goods to be resent.

Warranty Information

Candle Gifts warranty covers defects caused by manufacturing and workmanship but does not include damage caused due to weather, extremes of climate, acts of God, animal activity, deliberate intent, occupational hazards, fire or chemicals, loss during postage and/or transport either by post/couriers/sea or air freight. This warranty becomes void if the product becomes damaged beyond reasonable repair.

Refunds/Exchanges

If an item is listed as out of stock on our website or at $0, please do not order, or request the item in a colour/style that is not listed, as your order will not be processed. Instead please contact by email or phone for further information about your required product.

If you are not happy with your purchase - for any reason, then please contact us and we will talk it through.just call 03 5962 5334 or email info@candlegifts.com.au

If your order arrives damaged please provide clear original photos to info@candlegifts.com.au so we can organise a replacement or refund. Alternatively you are welcome to take the damaged order into our store where it can be processed straight away. Please note we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges without proof of goods and proof of damage.

Refunds are issued in the same tender as the original purchase. For example, if the item was purchased using a Visa card, the credit will be refunded to the same Visa card.

Can I cancel my order?

An order can only be cancelled up to the point it is dispatched. We pride ourselves in dispatching orders promptly, so to cancel please contact us immediately using our Contact form or call us on 03 5962 5334 before the goods have left our control. You will receive an email advising you that your order has been dispatched. After that point you will need to accept delivery.

If you feel a refund or exchange is required you must email or phone us first hand so we can log this action and process it in relation to any refund, return or exchange.

 

Candle Gifts endeavours to update the availability of stock and pricing as fast as possible. However due to high quantities of sales this may not always be the case. If you have any queries about the availability of an item please contact sales for more information.
